Health Maintenance Services for Older Americans
UMDHU receives federal Title III funds to provide health maintenance
services to individuals 60 years old and older. The funding is to
provide foot care at the Health Unit or as a home visit. In Divide
County UMDHU also provides weekly medication set up and blood pressures
for health maintenance clients. Services are not denied
to anyone based on ability to pay. Donations are accepted, which allows
services to be provided to a greater number of people. The suggested
Donations are: Blood Pressure/ Pulse $3.00 (60 and older)
$5.00 (under 60) Medication Setup $11.00 (60 and older)
$21.00 (under 60) Foot Care $18.00 (60 and older) $36.00
(under 60) Home Visit $16.00 (60 and older) $31.00 (under
60) Thank you for your contribution. Please make your
check payable to UMDHU if you wish to contribute and drop in donation
container or mail in. Aging Services Clients (60 and
older) will not be denied services due to an inability or unwillingness
to contribute and any contribution is purely voluntary.
The full costs are Blood Pressure/Pulse $5.14, Medication set up $20.56,
Foot Care $35.98, Home Visit $30.84. The Aging Services Program
subsidizes the provision of services. |
